If there's one thing everyone has in common, it's that we all want to be happy. We want to be happier this year than we were last year, and next year we want to be even happier.
Traditionally, the field of psychology has focused on the negative: what makes people sad, angry, or anxious. But the absence of those negative emotions doesn't necessarily make you a happy person. You can become happier, though, by changing your attitude and outlook on life.
In this workshop, you'll learn the theories about happiness espoused by leading positive psychology researchers such as Martin Seligman, Sonja Lyubomirsky, and Mihály Csíkszentmihályi. You'll learn about motivation, pleasure, and how to have better relationships. You'll also learn how to pronounce the names Lyubomirsky and Csíkszentmihályi.
This should be a fun and entertaining evening. Come join us!
